Backyard Gardening
GOAL
To develop and/or strengthen Home Gardens to satisfy the vegetable needs of the PSWT Beneficiaries and to establish linkages for income generation through sales of excess product.
OBJECTIVE
The sustainable production of vegetables for beneficiaries through the establishment of productive and viable home gardens.
In Partnership
Participants received topsoil, planters, and 45 seedlings, which consisted of tomatoes, sweet peppers, cabbage, leaf lettuce, cucumber, and zucchini, as well as 1oz of cilantro seeds. They also received training in Vegetable Production.
