The Public Sector Workers’ Trust has launched its inaugural project i.e. the Preventative Healthcare Measures Project. This is a health project that aims to provide all of its clients with a comprehensive medical examination. A physical examination with a doctor is included in the package as well as a number of laboratory testing. The Project began has in places agreements with Belize Medical Associates, Belize Healthcare Partners, Garden City Medical Center, Grace of God Clinic, and Northern Medical Specialty Plaza. In order to access the benefits that the project offers, each beneficiary of the PSWT must follow the process listed below.
Five-Step Process to Access Project:
Step 1. Verification
- List of beneficiaries published at http://pswt.org.bz/download/list-of-beneficiaries-of-the-pswt/.
- Check the list to determine if your name is there (If not, certified documents must be provided to the PSWT for verification before accessing these services).
Step 2. Make an Appointment
- Call the office of the PSWT at 223-7799/ 223-2877 or message us on WhatsApp at 673-7798 to set an appointment.
- The appointment time will be confirmed by the PSWT Office.
Step 3. Visit PSWT Office
- Visit the PSWT at no. 5620 Cor. Meighan And Gwen Lizarraga Avenue in Belize City at the scheduled appointment time to obtain the medical form.
- Medical forms will be in triplicate (one for the PSWT Office, one for the medical provider, and one for the beneficiary).
Step 4. Visit the Medical Provider
- Call the medical provider to set up an appointment (Contact number for the point person will be provided)
- Visit Medical provider to start medical procedures and tests.
Step 5. Medical Consultation
- Tests
N.B. PSWT’s Financial commitment ENDS after consultation. The PSWT is not responsible or liable for any additional tests, consultations, or medication that may be required. 10% discount, however, will be given by the medical providers to beneficiaries.
